I have read many pain books but this one is exceptional.
One author and a lot of very good illustrations.
Today must textbooks are written by an exaggerated number of authors with no coherence. This one is an exception. I would like to be able to write a similar book on orofacial pain. I am working on it.
Must pain textbooks are, in my opinion, written by authors who do not alleviate persons in pain, but dedicated to pain research.
It is a beautiful book for the paper used, the very good illustrations, the up to date knowledge in pain research.
It was, for me, very interesting to see the first book with no references at all. It is one author book, who undoubtedly is a clinician, who wants to teach us about how to alleviate pain in the real world.
